INDIGENES
This miniseries of 2 episodes of 52' transports us to Antiquity, to the heart of the Roman civil wars, alongside Octavian, Antony and Cleopatra. Men with exceptional destinies, recounted through 2 spectacular battles, one land, the other naval.
The battle of Philippi (in-42) in southern Greece, episode 1 - Avenging Caesar, presents us with a great Roman land battle.
The Battle of Actium, Episode 2 – Dreams of Empire, is a great naval battle (in -31). These 2 impressive fights, led by personalities that everything opposes, will definitely change the face of the world.
Here are the last moments of the Roman Republic and the end of Hellenism, marked by the terrible duel of men greedy for glory and power, with antagonistic visions of the world:
a competition between East and West, between Alexandria and Rome, between the Mediterranean-centrism of an Octavian and the dream of an Asian empire in the manner of Alexander of Antoine.
Passion, war, intrigues, power and great spectacle are at the rendezvous of these 2 great battles which reveal the reality of these ancient fights through great destinies.
